Something that you may not know about me

So I have this think where if I like a guy and then I find out that someone that I consider a friend likes that guy I kind of back off and eventually forget about it. Here are some examples when I was in high school I liked a guy named Sean and my friend Caitlin told me that she liked him so I gave up because I didn't want to compete with her. Example number two when I lived in Roman Gardens I liked a guy named Kirk than I found out that my roommate dated him and that she wanted to get back together with him so I though about and decided that fighting over him was not going to help my relationship with my roommate and so I backed off. Now I don't think I would have married either of these guys but I didn't really know them that well and gave up on trying too. Why do I tell you this well because I just found out that one of my friends likes Bryan and so now I need to figure out if I want to fight for Bryan or give up so as to not harm my friendship with her. Now I am not saying anything will happen with Bryan and I but I don't think that I am going to take a step back this time either, but at the same time there is that part of me that doesn't want to hurt my friendship with this girl. In case you were wondering I am not going to say who the girl is in this case because I don't think she wants everyone to know, especially the guy so Bryan if you are reading this don't bother I am not going to tell you who she is.
