So I just moved out of my old apartment and into my new one. It took me 2 evenings thanks to the help of my friends Sarah and Betsy. Sarah just moved here from Florida and she packed for me yesterday and did most of the manual labor of going back and forth today.
With that being said here is an update on my life.
My friend Sarah is starting college in the fall and is up from Florida early trying to find a job and is staying with me a couple of weeks. It is weird to think that I use to babysit her.
I really like my new job and I am way excited that I am getting my first paycheck there on Monday.
As for Red Deli he has not paid me yet. I got a letter from the Labor Commission today though he has 10 days to pay or he then has to pay either 1/3 of what he owes or a minimum of $300 for lawyer fees and will be charged 5% of what he owes each day that he does not pay for 20 days. My phone got turned off this week because of the bounced check do to no money in my account so he can try to call and complain but it is not going to do him any good he won't even get my voice mail. As far as I know he is not going to file for bankruptcy as he posted to hire new people after he got the first letter from the labor commission.
Well it is late and I am exhausted so I am off to bed.

good, I am glad the Labor Commission is helping you out and has set a deadline with consequences if he doesn't comply. I'm glad you like your new job, and were able to get into a new apartment even without being paid. I didn't want you to end up homeless, not when I am so far away that you can't reasonably come stay with me. (though if it ever came down to it, I'd do what I could to fly you over here. Of course, that wouldn't help you keep your new job.)
p.s. the sonographer is sick, so my ultrasound has to be moved. I don't have the appointment set up yet, but should have it set up after I see the doctor this afternoon. I'll post an update on my blog to let people know they can still participate in the give-away.
p.p.s. I just finished the Twilight Saga last night. Thank you for the recommendation.
