So yesterday I woke up again to the sound of someone beating my door down this time my roommate was in the hall and there was no one there so we know for sure that it is something someone upstairs is doing.
That being said it still freaked me out this morning when it happened and I discovered that it is in fact my door as I was ready this morning and I got out of bed and it stopped when there was no room for my door to vibrate.
Now we have decided that we are just going to have to get use to it.
