Updates

So in my life I have only ever gotten a flu shot once and only gotten the flu once. So when all this scare came out about the swine flou I didn't worry because I don't get the flu. I had a roommate get it over the summer and I didn't get it in fact 2 rommates had it over the summer. No problems. Boy was I wrong. About 2 1/2 weeks ago it was a Wednesday night I started feeling weird one of those I don't feel good but I can't explain why. Then the next morning I woke up and threw up my dinner (I hadn't eatten for 12 hours). I chalked it up to my stomache problems and called work and said i was going to be an hour late. I went and slept for another hour and when I got up to get ready for work I got really dizzy so I laid back down thinking i got up to fast the next time I moved I got dizzy again and I was shaking really bad. I called work and said I wasn't going to make it in. Spent the whole day trying to eat crackers and drink water but everytime I coughed it all came right back up. I also spent a lot of time sleeping. The next morning I woke up to get ready for work and my throat was on fire I tried to talk and nothing came out so I e-mailed work and said I can't talk so I won't be in. At this point I decided that I needed to go to the doctor so I looked up doctors in my network and found one that would squeeze me in. Turns out I had swine flu. One of my roommates stayed home sick (the one who didn't get sick over the summe) we had a lot of the same symptoms so I told her to go to the doctor because she might have it too. They wouldn't even see her. I got Temiflu which is the medication for it and started taaking it but still couldn't eat much this time it was because I had no appitite. I spent the whole weekend just laying around keeping warm and resting. Monday I was feeling worse so I called work and told them I was going to take another day to get over this (I e-mailed them after I found out what I had and let them know). I tried to figure out where I got it from noone really seemed sick at work. Tuesday I went to work but was out of it and could barely talk. Lets just say I just barely got better after being sick for 2 weeks. I also found out where i got it from and it was work. Swine flu is contagious teh first 4 days and there were people that had been sick for weeks that didn't even take time off until after I had been back a few days and well they had swine flu so I got it from work.
Other than that things are going pretty good.
