My Birthday!!

So Sunday was my birthday and my roommates decided that they wanted to make me lunch/dinner. They were not sure what my favorite food was though so they needed to figure this out and so they sent my roommate's boyfriend to figure this out (clue number 1). I let them know a few things that I liked. I then told my other roommate what I was expecting and she tried to play it off. Then my roommate who found out from her fiance what my favorite food was came home and made spaghetti for her sister and brother-in-law but also cooked lasagna noodles. I asked her what the lasagna noodles where for and just got a smile (clue number 2). I told my other roommate and she said that it was for her family dinner the next night. I didn't by this and figured out she was in on it. The next morning I came out of my room to my roommate talking to her sister and telling her the story about me thinking the lasagna is for me when it wasn't and I thought man they just need to give up and realize that I figured it out. We went to church and had lunch after wards provided by the stake and my roommates kept talking to people with out me and ditching me (clue number 3). We only had sacrament meeting and one of our friends had prepared the Sunday School lesson so we went to her place and had a Sunday school lesson. My roommate that went with me left as soon as we were done so I figured something was up and was trying to decide if I should go home and completely ruin the surprise or if I should hang out for awhile. Well I waited awhile and when I got home sure enough there was the lasagna dinner and I said don't even try to lie to me I total knew what was going on. I also said that I was not born yesterday so it didn't work.
Although I am very observant and you can't surprise me very well it was a very nice thought and I am very thankful for the effort that was put into the meal.
